EXECUTIVE SET UP
The Association will be governed by Central Body known as “Central Executive Council”
CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL
Central Executive Council shall comprise of two houses. The first house/chamber is “Administrative Council” which will consist of office bearers (President, Senior Vice President, Vice President, General Secretary, Additional General Secretary, Deputy General Secretary, Finance Secretary, Deputy Finance Information Secretary, Member Ship Secretary, Secretary Publication, Secretary Technical, Secretary Library, Legal Advisor, secretary Overseasand elected amongst the executive members, andthe second one is “Advisory Council” which will consist of executive members (District Representative) elected amongst the General Body members from concerned District. Once a Central Executive Council is constituted, all powers and activities for the working of the Association shall be vested in the Central Executive Council and the Central Executive Council shall be free to act in the Association as detailed hereunder:
(1) ADMINISTRATIVE COUNCIL.
It will consist of following and responsible for good governess to achieve the objectives of the association.

(2) ADVISORY COUNCIL.
It will consist of the “executive members” of the association. The affairsof “The Association” shall be managed under the guidance of the Advisory Council which shall have the responsibility to determine the direction and scope of the activities of the Association in accordance with the objectives specified in memorandum of Association. It shall also have the responsibility to approve the annual and supplementary budgets.
(3) HONORARYCOUNCIL.
It may also be constituted for the improvement of the activities of association. It will consist of 13 or 17 (Thirteen or Seventeen only) honorary executive members. The honorary executive members will be nominated by the President with the approval of ½ members of central executive council. They will perform the role of “Think Tank” for the association and buffalo breed development program.

EXECUTIVE MEMBERS
One executive member will be elected as district representative from each district in Punjab amongst the General Body members from concerned District (where at least 10 breeders registered from a District). All the major decisions / ordersshallbetakenbytheadministrativecouncilinconsultationwiththeexecutive members of the advisory council. The term of the (office bearers & executive members) central executive council will be five (05) years normally extendable by Ten months under special circumstances. Office bearers and executive members of central executive council will be elected by Election.
A) FUNCTIONSANDDUTIESOFEXECUTIVEMEMBERSOF(ADVISORY COUNCIL) THE CENTRAL EXECUTIVE COUNCIL.
- To formulate general policies of the Association in conformity with its aims and objects.
- To get the annual budget of income and expenditure of the Association for a particular year.
- To chalk out programs for generating income for the Association and find ways and means how to increase the income of the Association for coming years.
- To appoint a sub-committee for such particular purpose as may be deemed necessary.
- To appoint, suspend or dismiss paid employees (if any) of the Association and grant them leave,
- To authorize any extra-ordinary expenditure to the extent of Rs.500,000/- only for the specific purpose over and above the sanctioned budget.
B) To allocate funds for various schemes covered under the Aims and Objects of the Association. MINIMUM AND MAXIMUM STRENGTH OF CENTRAL EXECUTIVE
